I'd like to try and do a half marathon in under 2hrs
Plan was to do 30 or 40 mins over the woods pretty quick pace taking in a lot of hills.
A bit like jet lag really, swapping between day shifts and night shifts.
This title should have been 'Long Run', as every marathon schedule you read has at least an 18miler at this stage before a marathon.
Well I've obviously lived with it all my life but it still jumps up and bits you occasionally.
Dropped my daughter at Guides then went for a few of my usual wednesday laps.
I stopped for a wee, I stopped and said hello to my daughter, I gave her a quick kiss for goodness sake.
Yep, I failed.
Probably not fleet of foot, but this will be my first attempt at running a half marathon in under 2 hrs (the subject of this blog).
Sainsburys laps day again - it sure seems to come around fast.
Always a good way to get all the crap from the working week out of your system.
