Once a week

..whether I want to or not.
No not my love life - my running.
I seem to be settling into a routine, probably due to a lack of something to aim at. I'll have to start entering races again, just to focus my running.

Went today, over the woods taking in every hill I could see.

Not much else happening really.
Tenpin bowling last monday night. The first match of the new league, my partner couldn't turn up so our team got thrashed 8-0.
I bowled ok. 188,185,159.
Started to take the children swimming on saturday mornings, 6.30 to 8.00. Its good fun, although I still cant do the crawl, but I'm trying.

Over the woods

Steady jog after an early knock off from work.

A hilly run but didn't work too hard except for a couple of steep hills.
The dog was at it again, tripped me over once and attempted to chase a deer. Fortunately I managed to get her back with a dog whistle I've been training her with, usually she disappears hunting something and takes an age to get her back to me.

I saw two deer today, beautiful young ones.

Feeling hot hot hot

Its hot and sticky again.
Went for a run over the woods today with the dog, but it was pretty uncomfortable, so I cut it short but did some steep hills to make up for it.

Contacted a running club yesterday which train in the same woods that I always run in, so if I can pluck up the courage (I'm quite shy by nature) to attend a run next week it might help me improve, or at least focus my running to breaking my 2hr target.
